Chain Reaction 2.40: Random Graffiti

Hey! Look! It's the actual heir having a chapter! :P
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Ethan

I thought I'd get some cool new threads to wear to work after my promotion to detective, but I don't. I don't know why. I can't complain. I outrank plenty of people here now. Some of them look at me like 'what makes you so special?' Honestly, I have no idea other than luck.
That jerkface Landgraab got set free. I can't believe it! After I worked so hard to apprehend him, he slips through the rails like a sea serpent thanks to his 'dear old Dad' pulling some strings and dropping the charges.
Things stay quiet, and we all settle into a routine. Claire is almost done with her degree. Mom and Dad give me yet another baby sister! Whoa! Aren't they a little old for that? I mean, it's almost time for them to be thinking grandchildren, not more children. Um, except that would mean that Claire and I would have to have kids. I don't know if I'm anywhere near ready for that...not that I don't love practicing at every available opportunity when she's home.

Then, out of the blue, we get hit by a cyber-attack. Every computer in the building goes out, and the chief gets all his best people working on it--not me, though. I don't have much of an aptitude for electronics.
He calls me into his office.

"I want you to figure out the cause of this attack, Taylor."
My voice squeaks. "Me?" I clear my throat. "Why me?"
"Because I believe you have what it takes to do it old-school. You'll have to since our entire system is down."
Huh? He thinks I can do this? What the plum!
"Yes, sir," I say anyway. Where does he get the idea that I'M the guy to do this old-school?

I try to tell myself that he must believe in me for a reason, and I go out to the bulletin board to ponder what to do. Everyone around me is scrambling to restore the computer system, but I let it go over my head, flow through me and not stick.
Cyber attack. Cyber. Attack. Cyber attack. Why? What's the motive? Obviously, they want into our system or to outright destroy it all. Who could do this? My first thought is Uncle Alex, but I can't figure out WHY he'd want to do something like this. That, and I hate jumping to conclusions. Still. I could ask for his advice.

I haven't seen him in ages. He asks me to meet him at the gym. When I get here, a question hits me.
"Why are you here instead of just working out in your penthouse?"
He punches the bag a few times. "Selena is driving me crazy." When I ask him why, he just shrugs and says they had a fight over where to have the wedding. He doesn't want a big one, but she wants to throw the biggest shindig ever seen in Sims 4.
I decide to stay out of it, wondering how I'd forgotten that he'd gotten engaged. I'm sad he and Aunt Laura divorced. Hm. His fiancee is closer to MY age. I'm NOT calling her 'Aunt' Selena.
He agrees to come in and take a look. When he walks into the station, I notice several pairs of eyes giving him suspicious looks. I'll bet they're thinking that HE'S behind it. I can't blame them. I wouldn't be surprised to find out Uncle Alex could hack into Fort Croc for plum's sake.
He, from a laptop he could use to tap into our corrupted system, pinpoints from where the attack came, and most officers in the station treat him differently, better, happy that he helped. He offers to help get the system back online, and the chief welcomes the help. I think Uncle Alex is just looking for yet another excuse to get out of his house.
Why is he marrying this woman if all he wants to do is escape her presence?
That's a question for another day. I have work to do.
I go to the location where he said the attack came from.

To my utter dismay, I find the Landgraabs in residence.
"I have no idea why you're thinking the attack came from this address. We're only renting the place for a quiet getaway." Mr. Landgraab isn't too happy with me. That makes me sad since it was he who recommended I get that case--in which I arrested his son but anyway. I'm still sad he doesn't like me anymore. "Are you sure you have this right, or are you looking for something else to pin on my family?" He knows I'm upset that Malcolm isn't behind bars.
"Sir, I'm doing my job. I had a top professional trace the attack to this location."
"Well, isn't that convenient for you." He scowls. "No one here has done anything but various internet searches and Facebook."

The other officers and I agree that it would probably be best for them to get statements from the Landgraabs. I busy myself taking pictures. Although...I don't know what random graffiti is going to do to help us figure out the basis for a cyber attack--but it's part of the job.

While everyone else works on getting the system set back up, Uncle Alex gets me a computer hooked into its own network or whatever he calls it. Isolated but with internet--You got me; I don't understand it. But I'm happy I have something to use. With Uncle Alex's help, I hack into the Landgraabs' network. I need to figure out why they would want to do this. I have my suspicions, but I have to prove it.

After fixing the spice festival problem the night before (game issue), I'm very tired. I foolishly decide to take a nap in the lobby.
"Yes, I would like to file a harassment complaint," I hear from a familiar voice.
     "Against who?"
"That lout asleep on the bench over there."
     I get up.

"Deciding to come back where you belong, Malcolm?" I'm still mad about that.
"Unfortunately, I have to come to place where you work in order to file a complaint. We're being unlawfully investigated."
I laugh meanly. "You just made that up. If you're being investigated, it's for a good reason."
"No, I have proof that our system was hacked into from a computer on this premises." He turns back to the receptionist. "My rights are being violated."
"What rights?" I snap, not liking him ignoring me.
     "Privacy."

The complaint gets processed. Did Uncle Alex help me do something that's illegal? What will I do if I can't get into their system? What will I do if I can't USE the stuff I already have? I'm convinced it's the family using a third party to do their dirty work. I just have to trace it to them. Sure, I could arrest the guy that actually did the hacking, but I'd rather get the Landgraabs on it.
Malcolm's little stunt sets me back almost to square one. Ugh! This is so frustrating! I know it came from them, but how can I prove it without him putting me into a constant checkmate?
I'm really looking forward to Claire coming home this weekend.

Being married definitely has its perks. Woohoo tops that list. Claire and I do it every opportunity we have.
I enjoy every bit of my free Sunday. The Landgraabs can wait. Uncle Alex got the system back online, but now everyone is trying to repair the damage. Some files were lost.
Claire has to go back to college Monday morning, and I'm not happy.

We get up extra early so she can catch her flight. After I wake up, she comes into the bedroom already dressed, having taken her shower already.
"Oh good. You're sitting down," she says.
"Yeah. Why?" Why does she want to make sure I'm sitting down? Is this her way of saying that she's about to tell me she can't come home again for another month? I mean, I knew this would be hard, but I just want her home. Is that too much to ask?
"Well, I wasn't sure, and I didn't want to tell you until I was sure."
"Spill it, Claire. Go ahead and tell me." Life is not going like I want it to.

     "I'm pregnant!"

---------------------------------------
Yeah, so, I'll go ahead and say I haven't any real clue whether or not any of this would be probable in real life--Malcolm's complaint about being hacked into. But this is my reality, so there ya go. (Frankly, I don't care one way or the other--I needed something for the storyline.)

Don't Ask 1.7: That's All I'm Going to Say About It

Pink shirt dude: Nice weather we're having.

Green shirt woman: I think I heard that in a song once.

Pink shirt dude: I'm a computer programmer.

Pink shirt dude: You wanna woohoo?

Then, the woman smiles? That would never happen in real life. Maybe she thinks he's funny. Maybe she's looking forward to throwing her drink in his face. Maybe she's drunk.

I'll let you create your own ending to this scenario.

Where was Kyle during this? Working on his weekly prank. Public places don't throw you out like private homes will.

He needed the break. Taking care of twin girls is a hard job! Iris gets a break when she goes to work. At least, that's how he sees it.

Iris wants me to make sure to say that she feels she does her fair share.

But Kyle says he's the one to stay home all the time. Then Iris says that she earns the most money.

-.-

Would you two stop arguing through me?!

Uh, Kyle? The couch syndrome went away. Dayum. Did you drink a potion?

Kyle: I've been working out.

Those results were too fast. This isn't Sims 2.

Kyle: I've been working out, and that's all I'm going to say about it.

Right. You drank a potion.

Back to the karaoke bar...
After Kyle clogged the sink, he decided to try his voice at singing.

Kyle: Nailed it!

Sure you did.

Kyle: Hey, sexy.

Isn't that a great picture for a kitchen? I mean, I just had to take a pic of it. Kyle and Iris may think this is a pic of them kissing because they need 3 kids, but it's a pic of the picture in the kitchen. :) *watches as Kyle drags his wife into the bedroom*

Wow! Time flies on normal lifespan settings!

Catlynne

Freena

Catlynne post makeover. I decided to keep the glasses.

Freena post makeover. I think she liked the pigtails better, but I wanted to use CC hair. Besides, the pigtails are in use by another two toddlers I'm playing...

Highchairs replaced the baby bassinets.
This is a sweet family photo.

Alrighty, I make a big deal (if I can) about a toddler's first word.

Generation 2 roll reveal:
When I FIRST ROLLED for the legacy, I rolled for Kyle to run a restaurant. At the time, I didn't have the dining out pack thingy. Now, I do. So, I'm using an old Sims 3 new expansion pack rule. I don't even bother rolling for the heir's career for this generation 2. It's going to be Restauranteur. Freena's first word puts being the heir heavily in her favor.

I can hardly wait no matter who the heir is! That's a career I've never really done before!

After selling a few things and spending some money, they redecorate the twins' room. (Salim isn't happy they sold their bong; he greatly was against it.)

Coming up next!
Salim entertains us with another story.
and
I have no idea because I need to play them!
20 minutes after posting: Oh yeah, Iris may or may not be preggers again. Let's hope it's NOT twins this time.

Chain Reaction 2.39: Victim

Today is Miss Aguilar's first day. She arrives early. I'd just finished working out and am on my way to get a bottle of water when her presence surprises me.

     I say her name, startled.
"Is this better, Mr. Goth?" She doesn't act like it bothers her that she surprised me.
"Y-yes." Plum. Ever since Traci threw that drink in my face, I haven't been as 'satisfied' as I'd gotten used to being. Addyson can't keep up, and I feel bad for wanting to push her. Then, that whole thing with Emily the other night has me ...agitated. I really needed my workout this morning.

"Perhaps a little too good," I finish without thinking.
"Oh." She sounds disappointed. "I didn't think this was too formal. Perhaps if you-"
"No, no!" I quickly interrupt. "It's fine. Trust me. You look..." Delicious. "Nice."

She giggles that kind of giggle and strikes a flirtatious pose. "Just 'nice,' huh?" What's happening? "The way you're looking at me right now says more than just 'nice.' I'm glad, but I wonder what you're going to do about it."
I blink. Did she just--? "Miss Aguilar-"
"Go ahead and call me Selena." Again with that look like she could eat me alive.
Where did this come from? "Is there something you...want...me to do about it?" I figure I'd better outright ask or I could get into some serious trouble.
Another giggle. Holy plumbob. "I can think of a few things."

I reach for her hand. Gold. Digger. Gold-digger! She doesn't act shocked that I'd hold her hand like this. Very scrumptious gold-digger. "Enlighten me."

"Well..." she looks down and licks her lips. Then, her eyes light a fire everywhere they travel up until finally meeting mine. "Actually, what I'm thinking: It won't matter what we're wearing because it involves much less clothing."
A ravenous beast roars inside me.

"This isn't what I had in mind when I hired a PA, in case you were wondering." She still doesn't act shocked even though she can tell I'm seconds from attacking her.
"This isn't what I had in mind when I submitted my resume. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized there's something about you."
Yes, and there are millions of them in my bank account. I don't care. She's offering herself on a silver platter, and I'm nothing but a victim of her charms. She presses her chest against me, and I pull her hand to my lips.

But it's not her hand that I kiss. She makes a little noise of surprise, and I eat it up, squeezing her to me. I let her brazen hands do whatever they want, and I'm shaking in minutes. Oh, she's gooooooooood. Probably too good.
"So, Mr. Goth, anything you'd like me to do first?" her sultry voice asks.
I have to sit down or this little minx will have me on my knees on the floor. So, I pull her over to the couch so that I can sit, and she gets on her knees, making me feel oh so much better.
For the first half of the day, I don't get any work done, instead enjoying my new PA and everything she willingly offers. I'm a sucker for physical pleasure.
Eventually, we do get some real work done, and I discover that she's not just good in bed but in business as well. After a few weeks, we establish a special work relationship.
Then, she starts talking 'serious relationship' with me. I don't want to ruin this, but I'm not looking for the next Mrs. Goth. So, I shut her up for a few more weeks with a diamond tennis bracelet.

Tonight, we're in the hot tub. Drake is at Laura's this weekend. He and Emily are still dating. For a little while, it felt awkward being around Emily after accidentally kissing her like I did, but she acted like nothing weird happened. I let it go.
Selena plays under my trunks. She's so good. It doesn't take her long to have me aching to have her. I moan her name.

She startles me when she suddenly swings around and straddles me. She giggles at my being startled. Oh no. Don't be playful. Just woohoo me already.
"So...When are you planning on making an honest woman out of me?"
     "I..." Oh, plum, not now!

I moan again, unable to answer thanks to how she teases me. "Selena..."
"I want to be more than just your PA, Alex. Surely, you know that by now." She won't stop teasing me, and I squeeze her thighs.
What do I do?! I'm NOT interested in marriage again, and certainly not with her. She's just someone who can provide the supply to my demand. However, my eyes have started rolling to the back of my head.
"No, sir. Stay with me," she orders, maybe thinking I'm going to faint. It's a possibility, considering blood not flowing to my brain. I'm in so much need that I could woohoo a brick wall like a jackhammer.

I whine pathetically when she kisses me.
It's always that you hear about the woman being the victim in these situations, but I believe the opposite has happened now. She has me exactly where she wants me, taunting me with her luscious body. Me, a lonely, woohoo-crazed man.
"Just think," she purrs, "you could have this all the time."
I want to cry. She's too good at this.
"I love you, Alex. I want to be with you...always."
Damn her. No, you don't. You love my wealth. I start shaking again. So what? She's right. It could be mutually beneficial: she loves my wealth; I love her body. It's not like it's a unique situation.
Sounding like it's coming from someone else, I say, "Then marry me, Selena."
She lets out a happy squeal, says yes, and hugs me. I don't want a plumbing hug. Instead, I woohoo her like a wild animal.

Cheer Poses

I did some cheer poses for Sterretjeee and her Grace Legacy.

These ^^ pics are a poor representation of what they could look like. They looked better in her chapter on page 52.

Download (SFS)

I made these because I wanted to. Use as you like. Just don't claim them as yours.
