Rose 2.47: Little flower

Willow hands me my daughter before I can do more loving things to the mother of my baby girl. She can't stop me from complimenting her, especially if it's the truth.
I don't let her coldness bother me. I smile and ask, "What do you want to name her?"

"I was thinking Camilla. Is that okay?" she asks, sounding worried I won't like it.
"Camilla... That is a flower, yes? Then it is perfect," I tell her warmly and tenderly hold my precious daughter.
Willow sounds relieved as she says, "Good." She walks up to me, standing so close, and then she kisses the back of our baby's head before turning away. I resist the urge to kiss her.

Instead, I hold my daughter close while Willow goes to get some breakfast. "We have to let Mama eat because having a baby is hard work," I tell my little flower. I bounce a tiny amount while her little nails scratch at my shoulder as she opens and closes her hands.

"Papa's little flower. You will be beautiful just like your mother. One day, I will have to give you a big stick to fight away all the boys. But now, you are my little flower." I rock back and forth while she roots around on my shoulder, probably hungry. "Papa will get you a bottle," I tell her.
I do not get to feed my daughter the bottle because my mother speeds into the room, shocks everyone by hugging Willow, and begs to hold Camilla. I cannot refuse her. Mama loves babies.

Tonight, Papa offers to take the night shift, and the rest of us happily get ready for bed. I hear Willow walking around in our room, and I make a decision.

She makes a surprised noise I expect when I suddenly pull her into my arms and kiss her. She tentatively kisses me back. She feels so good in my arms! She's the beautiful mother of my beautiful daughter! She is wonderful. This will be very easy to say:

"I love you," I tell her when I pull back for a moment. Her lips part and do not respond when I quickly kiss her again.
     "W-what?" she asks.
"I love you," I tell her again.

I kiss her again, gently, to prove it. Her posture tells me exactly what she's thinking; I understand Willow now.
"You're worried," I tell her. "Don't worry anymore, my precious Willow. I would not say I love you if I didn't mean it."

I kiss her again. Her body shivers a few times, and she kisses me back a little more now. I reach my hand up to hold her head before moving to kiss her throat. While I kiss her, I also speak. "You were my first one. It is you that taught me everything. It is you that turned me from boy to man, and I love you."
She completely relaxes and kisses me back like only Willow can. I moan, instantly turned on. She responds to my moan by inching us over to the bed. I twist us, put her on the bed, and climb on top of her.

She lets out her own tortured moan as I move against her. She has been suffering too, even though she'd never admit it.
"We belong together," I tell her quietly. "This is how it should be, the two of us, together, a family. Marry me, Willow."
She gasps, doesn't answer me, and pulls me under the sheets.

     She can answer me later.

  1. that's the first time I've seen that pop up for a guy. I've only ever gotten it for my female sims.

I can't believe he asked her to marry him! What is he thinking??? Nevermind, he's not thinking. She finally gave in to the woo-hoo. I hope they weren't risky this time too. LOL

    1. Took me forever to figure out what you meant by 'pop.' LOL! Oh, the press loves, LOVES to trash Donovan! Later, any time he goes on vacation, they come up with something, and the townies boo him all over the place. I can't figure out if it's even possible to sue for slander in a vacation world. So, he's like, on day 3 of 9, and the town is booing him. Twice, I'm guilty of deleting the moodlet because it drives me nuts.
That particular instance (baby out of wedlock), I didn't have him sue. He was, after all, guilty. It worked for my storyline.

Yup. Not thinking. Or, he THINKS he's thinking if that even makes sense.
I KNEW you ask if that was risky or not! LOL!
