I start doing the good papa things like teaching Camilla how to use her potty. She thinks, at first, that it is a toy, but I show her what it's really used for. All the saved wishes I have now pertain to my children.
Ignoring the fear I have saying it, I think I might be feeling happy again. Camilla is happily surprised by the smallest of things. I worry she is simple, but then I decide she is just a very happy, loved little girl.
I go on my date with Karina, and it goes very well. A few nights later, I invite her to stay the night in the little house. She accepts. We date occasionally, and she is wild in a way I really like. I also get the feeling from her that she's about as interested in serious romance as I am, which is not at all. We work very well together.
The Maker has looked ahead, and she is amazed at how Camilla will look very much like Willow yet it doesn't show as much now. It is harder to tell from a toddler what a young adult will look like. She worries that Willow looked too vanilla pudding, and she might download a custom skin for Camilla.
Speaking of vanilla, a random townie shows up to Lorenzo's birthday party. Papa stops me on the way over to talk to her, but that doesn't stop me from noticing.
Then, the Maker decides to give the townie a makeover.
Ever anxious of creating more fairy dogs with the mailbox way of putting in supernatural sims, she makes the random townie a fairy as well. I like the simple changes she did to this woman, and Papa can't keep me distracted any longer.
I learn her name is Abbie Barrow, and she is on a work study program here. I wish I had more time to devote to getting to know her, but it is my son's birthday party. I have other family and friends here.
Lorenzo and I really get into the cake as he blows out his candles.
The kitchen gets too crowded, and we have too many little toddler things in the living room for me to place Lorenzo where he can age up. So, I take him outside.
Many guests have shown up that were not on the guest list. Papa and I both are three star celebrities, and my fame has turned positive once more. I guess that is why our party is so popular.
Lorenzo ages up, and I get distracted. "Miss...Angel?" It's the flight attendant I sang to at the park one day.
"Hi," she says dryly, not looking at me.
I rub the back of my neck, wondering why she's acting strangely. "How have you been?"
"Terrible, you stupid Monte Vistan!"
Lorenzo is shocked by her actions, and he's not the only one. "Papa, she smashed our pumpkin!"
I turn to the lady. I also see my mother has exited the house and is giving Miss Angel an evil eye. "You need to leave. You are disrupting my son aging up, and you are incredibly rude."
"What do you know of rude?" she snarls back at me, and Mama's hands begin to glow. "Obviously, I don't matter to you, and here I thought you were romantic! I come back to Monte Vista to see you flirting with anything that moves!"
"I believe you are confused." Or crazy. "There is nothing between us."
"Not anymore there isn't!"
"If I remember, you walked away. Now, do the same and leave." I make a shooing motion with my hands and return my attention to my son.
The Maker only gives him a small makeover, fixing his clothing. The shape of his eyes remind me of Tiffany, and again, I can't decide if I regret he didn't also get her eye color. He looks like he will have the Robles nose.
"Whatever. This is a stupid party anyway," Miss Angel says.
Lorenzo starts looking upset, but I tell him to ignore the crazy woman. Go back to your cats.
Link playfully punches me in the arm.
"Haven't seen you around lately!" he teases.
"I've been...busy," I tell him with a suggestive grin. Then I ask him how things are going with Chasity. He says they haven't been able to have a baby so far. I suggest sneaking into Mama and Papa's room during the busy party and doing a little woohoo. Maybe that bed was their lucky charm.
Little red sparkles and small hearts start sprinkling from my brother. I turn to my left, and Mama quickly winks at me. She heard what I said!
Link looks dazed as he says, "I'm...going to go find where Chasity went off to."
Judging from what I saw, I don't think Mama minds her son borrowed their bed.
While my brother makes it with his wife, I pose for a photo for Carmen...my sister-in-law. I don't understand why she treats me like she's never seen me before. Maybe Skye's strangeness has started to rub off on her.
Zo-zo's party is a success. Everyone has fun socializing. I would've liked to have re-met Milo's wife Angela DeLuca Robles, but she couldn't make it. I am also sad that Fiona and her family didn't come. I believe she has turned more Monty than Robles. Clifton Mancini doesn't show his face either, but I don't mind that one. I wish I'd gotten another chance to talk to Giselle, but there were so many people at the party!
After most people have left the party, my strange old friend Yvette Ferrari shows up...

-I got to choose the trait for Lorenzo, and he got the rebellious trait.
-Pedro publishes Military Unintelligence, a satire novel, and gets 1,706/w
-Donovan gets the manipulator reputation. I, now, think that's neat, but now I'm actually a little mad at myself because I see I got him the 'above reproach' LTR. Well, let's just ditch that possible drama. -.-

Happy birthday to Lorezno. He aged up well. I see more of Tiffany in him than Don, but it could be the hair. I wonder if he'll be a nice big brother or if he's not going to like his baby sister.
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. He's a male version of Tiffany with Donovan's eye color and nose. It's the shape of the eyes that does it for me. Plus, he'll have Tiffany's chin and overall face shape.
DeleteHe's a good kid. :)
