Rose 15: Groundhog Day

    The next thing I know, we've gone back in time to just before we got our family photo taken. Confused, we take the photo again. Then, I feel compelled to throw our gift-giving party again. Camillo shows up in his swimsuit. His wife just died (did I say that already?), and I think he's losing his mind.

    ?This time? we decide to go to Fiona's ballet recital. She didn't get the lead because she missed the tryouts, but she does amazing!

     This is just like that movie Groundhog Day. Except this time, I start having contractions when the recital is over. At least we already have a sitter in place. Pedro sends Fiona home, and the two of us head to the hospital (no more home births for me).

    Out pops a sweet little boy. I name him Skye. He weighs 10lbs 3oz. I guess that's why I got so big!

Then the game crashes again. ARG! My last save this time was right after the recital. There was actually a little space of time from the recital to the delivery, so this time I had them go home.

    After Fiona's recital, I have the strangest sense of deja vu. I shrug it off, head home, and decide to bake a pumpkin pie. As I'm mixing the ingredients in our new processor, I go into labor. Well, dang it, I'm making a pie so this baby is just going to have to wait until I'm done. Still in labor, I stand here and patiently wait for my pie to bake.

    There. 

    Pedro comes into the kitchen and starts immediately freaking out. Honestly, Pedro? Really? This should be old hat by now.

    I decide to head to the hospital by myself to calm down Pedro's nerves, and I don't want to have another home birth.

    Pedro tells me later that while I was giving birth, his old boss at the bar called and begged him to take his job back. Huh. Right. 

    I have a sweet little boy that I named Skye. I think I was so big because he weighs 10lbs 3oz!

    Did I say that already? Hm.

    The next day is Saturday and Link's birthday, so we decide to throw another party!

    Um, the past few days from our last party have been busy ones for the neighborhood kids. They're all growing up so fast!

    I finally get to meet Carlo's wife, Raina. She's... a little odd... maybe even just as evil as he is. Poor Kermit is just as awkward as he was as a child. Galen seems to be trying to get over having two left feet, and I also meet his older brother Beppe. Brother? Cousin? I never find out. Allen and Santos are cuties (Santos still glares at me from time to time)

I forgot to label the woman. It's Giovanna Costa. She has a thing for Pedro.

    At least his animosity doesn't extend to Fiona. They act like they're sharing some private joke.

    I take Link out to his cake. Even though I feel like I'm bending some rule, we decide to go ahead and have Fiona have her birthday one day early. Everyone's here anyway. Still, this party is really for Link after all.

    A wild horse runs right past us, shocking everyone. I also feel a little shocked by the pjs that Link wears.

    Fiona walks over to blow out her candles.

    More of our guests have made their way out to see Fiona blowing out her candles, and I can't help but finally notice that even though we invited others, most of our guests are teenage boys. This makes me a little worried considering I'm about to have a teenage daughter.

    Before she can get a slice of cake, Fiona's appearance mysteriously changes. I shrug and let it go. Stranger things have happened!

Yeah, I aged Fiona up early. I didn't want to throw another party the next day, plus I wanted her to really enjoy the weekend as a teen.

Link gets the rebellious trait and Fiona gets the daredevil trait.

Skye was (finally) born first as a genius and good. Marvelous traits! Did I get to keep them? Nope. Still, the second time he was born he was given friendly and disciplined. Not bad. He's not magical. This, of course, probably means he'll be a redhead LOL. He was sent one of those awful dolls. (I realize I could delete them, but I'm deciding not to.)

Well, yeah... so now they still need one more. Pedro still has that blasted fertility treatment and so I'm worried that -- sure as the world -- now that I only need one I'll get twins. (at least triplets are out of the question!) Only time will tell. What was I thinking getting him that LTR?

Gossip time!

Carlo Mancini is Fiona's teacher! LMAO that evil dude as a teacher scares me.

Pedro got another promotion. He gets Wednesdays off now and gets off a half-hour earlier. yay!

As I was roaming around the neighborhood, I noticed that at some point Giacomo left Florence! I have no idea why or when. I still get SP updates about them being in love.

Sebastina Russo died.

Santos has started dating Victoria Costa.

Then, I actually got to close the game out nice and normal. That was so nice.
