Gnomish Behavior 3: Go get me some nuts

After the horrible debacle of creating Bunbuns, Jr., Bill sits back to contemplate his next move.
"What if I had an army of annoying bunnies? If it's one thing bunnies can do, it's reproduce!" he says to himself.

Another witch shows up on the lot. Rose names her Broomhilda.

And then there are three bunnies. They name the third one "Third".

And the fourth one "Fourth". Fourth likes his name, although he wishes everyone would call him 'Forth' instead.
Bunbuns and his offspring are on a roll. They name the fifth one "Fifth."
"And the sims themselves suspect nothing!" Bill laughs.

Hyacinth comes back from visiting her sister at another house. When Bill tells her about his success with the rabbit gnomes, she gets bored and falls asleep.

"Fourth, you do realize you're watching the back of the television, don't you?" Hyacinth asks.
"Please. I've asked you to call me Forth." he responds.
"They both sound the same. How do you know I wasn't?"
     "I can tell."
"And yet, you can't properly watch a television set." Hyacinth points out.

"The eldest will surely win the heir vote." Hyacinth says with a smile.
"She's not even in the running." Bill points out in a bored voice.
     "What?!"
"Yeah. The maker doesn't like her features, and she doesn't want to pass them down to the next generation."

"Then, surely the second child, also a witch although he prefers to be called otherwise for reasons I don't understand, will win. He's very highly qualified." she says.
      "Probably not."

"And then the frog started hopping around and around the turtle before it splashed into the pond, making a big mess and not cleaning it up afterwards. The turtle told the frog it needed to be more polite to which the frog replied 'ribbit' in a very rude way. It's really a shame that turtles can't give the bird because of how their feet are made. I don't see how giving someone a bird is rude other than the thing might poop everywhere and leave feathers all over the place for the sim to clean up, but they talk about it alot." Third continues to ramble along to the very-good-at-listening plants.

"Ah, my favorite show is on." Fourth says.
"They turned the TV off." Bill says laconically.
"I know that, but I'm watching it in my head."

"Yeah! Get him in the nuts!"
"I like nuts. Go get me some nuts."
Junior and Fifth like sitting out in the setting sun, watching the boys and their games.
        "Not those nuts."

Fourth follows Bill upstairs to the bathroom. "Whatcha doing?" he asks.
"I'm getting in the way of anyone trying to use this shower."
      "Why?"
      "So I can be annoying."
      "Why?"
"Because I hate sims! This is something easy I can do to further wreck their measly, little lives."
      "Why?"
"Because that is my purpose in life."
      "What's my purpose?"
"Apparently, to annoy me even more than I can possibly annoy the sims in this house."

If only Bill knew about the terrifying world of monsters under the bed, he might be able to make use of them.

"The heir has been decided, and he has no magic ability in him!" Hyacinth protests to Bill one day.
"Then will you finally join me in my quest to annoy the sims of the Robles household?" Bill asks.
Hyacinth ponders it for a moment, and she finally decides that for as long as there is no witch heir in the house, then she will do her best to make the sims miserable.

Bill calls for reinforcements. "My brother from up north... waaaayy up north." he explains. "He's Mr. White Christmas, also known as Mr. Snow, Mr. Icicle, Mr. Ten-below. We call him Snow Miser for short."

Rose 27: Gossiping old woman

Rose

I feel like we've already done this, but it's time for Skye and Fiona to age up. I think I got the feeling, although I don't know when, but I thought I'd have four teenagers in the house. Only for a few minutes because Fiona ages to a young adult today. I'm feeling very old.

Eeeee!!!! He's such a cutie. He reminds me so much of Pedro, but I can see me in him too.

"What?" Skye asks like him becoming a teenager is an everyday occurrence and he can't understand why we're making a big deal about it.

"Dad?" Fiona asks. "Could you at least go and put on a shirt? Tony's coming by later today, and I don't want you going around in your underwear."
Maybe some day Fiona will understand that her father going around in his underwear all the time is totally hot.
Memories of a long-time-ago Christmas Eve replay in my mind of him fixing a piece of crap toilet while I take a bubble bath right next to him. happy sigh.

Everyone goes inside with their piece of cake except Pedro and me while Fiona walks up to her own cake. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it, and she didn't want to wait any more.

     My first adult child.
It just so happens to be Leisure Day, so we all decide to head to the park to take a family photo and see what entertainment the park has to offer.

Antonio and Fiona say their vows very near the same spot where Pedro and I said ours. Awwww.

(this didn't actually work for some reason, but when I moved her out, SP took care of it for me.)

So, life begins to take up a pattern again. Pedro still tries to convince me of more children, but I really don't want any more. So, instead, Pedro sets his hopes high that Fiona will make us grandparents. As far as I'm concerned, she can take her time!
Constanzo Rossi retires from being the mayor, and Georgia Giordano takes his place. The stalker Georgia Giordano? What is this town coming to?
Constanzo dies not too long after.
Another big occurrence is Tony's father, Patrizio, gets engaged to some woman named Rena, but then they break it off and he turns around and gets engaged so a woman named Noel Sloan.
Beppe Bianchi, who once had a thing for Fiona, gets Tony's ex-girlfriend Marta Almeria pregnant out of wedlock!
I sound like a gossiping old woman.

I have no idea why this keeps happening, but Link gets so involved in his homework that he frequently gets singed once he's finished. I stand by ready to douse him with water should he actually catch fire, but all he gets is a singed after-effect.

Before we know it, the evening arrives when the twins are scheduled to age up.

Then the world crashes. Sorry.

Even though they feel they've done it already, the boys sit down to do their homework. I keep an extra-close watch on Link in case he catches fire. He looks like his chest is starting to smoke.
"So, is art club stupid, or do they actually make it interesting?" he asks Donovan.

"It's not lame." Donovan answers. He really gets into his homework sometimes.

Milo is a little high strung. I try to tell everyone it's because he was such a little preemie, and that makes him extra sensitive, but the rest of the family doesn't as easily tolerate his tantrums.

However, he finally laughs when it's time for the twins to age up.

No more babies, no more toddlers. Wow. I've almost forgotten what it's like to not have to worry about changing a diaper or clean out a potty.

After a little while, we discover that Milo wasn't fussy because he was a high-strung preemie. He was just bored after all. We'd bought a chemistry set that he takes an immediate liking to.
I've also given up on trying to keep the floor of the greenhouse dirt. That crazy 'unfinished room' moodlet would never go away, so I'm replacing the flooring as the plants die and putting in more planters.

Do you know what this is? THIS is a house with all the children at school. Just me and Pedro.

So we make the most of it the best way we know how.

After many many tries, I finally get the hang of realism. I want to keep this one. After completing a challenge, we're not hurting so much for money.

Time goes by. Before I know it, fall has again arrived.

Since it's the weekend, we all decide to head down to the park again.

"I dare you to go in the haunted house." Link tells Giselle.
     "I dunno..."
"You're not scared are you? What kind of a witch are you anyway?"

Apparently the kind that pees herself after exiting the haunted house.
I find out later that another witch gnome attached herself to Giselle while she was inside.
Link feels awful, and he gives her some money to go and buy something from the concession stand.

    Comfort food.
I take her home real quick so she can shower herself off. Then she's determined to go back and prove to everyone there that a little embarrassment isn't going to stop her. Atta-girl!

When we get back, a fog looks like it's starting to roll in. Pedro comes out of the haunted house in a very unexpected way! Trelf! what happened?!

I start crying, and Pedro floats over to make me feel better. He'd already done something similar to the boys standing nearby. We all hope this is only temporary.... some trick of the haunted house.
I can hear Santos and Victoria Costa Rossi talk quietly to each other about Pedro while Santos's little brother, Vasyl, talks to Donovan about mummies and how we're 'lucky' that Pedro didn't turn into one of those.

Giselle walks over and starts crying, but Vasyl intercepts her and tells her it'll be okay, that he's seen this sort of thing before. Then he distracts her by talking about unrelated stuff. The boy has the same gift for speech that his deceased father, the late mayor, had apparently.

Not much later at all, Pedro turns back into his normal self. He's the happiest of all of us.
That scare over, the boys challenge each other to an apple-bobbing contest.

"Dude, you still have to breathe, you know." Donovan tells his younger brother.
"No cheating, Link." Skye gets out real fast before he attracts apples to his mouth like some strange magnet. I feel sorry for the random guy that came up to compete against my sons.

That guy storms off in a huff while Skye gloats because he won. It doesn't appear to bother Donovan, but Link's mouth pinches together while he stares off at the haunted house.
"Put a sock in it, Skye." he mumbles.

"Aw, don't be sore, bro. You know if you'd won you'd rub it in our faces. Still, you weren't going to win because nobody can top my awesomeness." Skye says with a small laugh.
With that, we all decide to go home.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Giselle acquired the hydrophobic trait. The time it crashed, the game gave her the brave trait. I guess since it worked, I get an opposite of that.
I got to choose Milo's, so I chose computer whiz. It suits him.
Then the game crashed while I was upstairs doing laundry. I had saved successfully right before then so HAHA! I win.

Deaths:
Constanzo Rossi, Cornell Swenson (never mentioned him before as well as -), Pepe Moretti. Just putting those two in in case they're referenced later for some strange reason. Veronica DeLuca. (same thing)
Then Georgia Giordano dies -- I have no idea who's mayor at the moment. Not that it really matters, but it's something I like to keep track of.

Pedro's humor novel Velocity of a Laden Swallow tops the best sellers list and earns them $703/week. Pedro needs +/- $600 a week more to reach his LTW.
The other Montys moved out of the house, leaving Tony and Fiona with the family fortune (thank you, SP!). I'm not positive if Allen moved out or not, but I'd imagine that Tony has rights over Allen.
Remember Ron Frey? He and his wife finally have a kid. A daughter named Joanna.
Speaking of babies, a pic shows Victoria Rossi preggers. They have a girl named Cloe.
Another baby worth mentioning is Beppe Bianchi and Marta Almeria's (they're still not married and Beppe pays child support). They have a son, Anselmo.

Link chooses his LTW: Master Magician. I guess I won't send him to university.

Rose 25: And then the world ends

Rose

Time continues to fly by. However, our days, mostly nights, get pockmarked with Milo's screaming. The boys hate that I put him in their room, but in my mind, that's where a baby boy goes... in the boys' room!

Besides, Milo is my last baby, my littlest little peapod. I can't blame him for being high maintenance.

The boys each come up with their own brand of dealing with it. I think Skye is having the toughest time. Donovan has a knack for waking up after Link does because Link will just go and take care of baby Milo without being asked.

Before I even have time to turn around, the twins age up. Milo has the annoying cross-eyed problem so common to us when we age up. I gave him a haircut. (and then I gave Giselle a makeover) (I can't believe I didn't take an made over pic of Milo, but here's a cute one of Giselle:)

Pedro wants more children. He just doesn't understand that I've had it with being a baby machine. I want to raise the children we have and work on my art and then my writing. Aren't six children enough for this man?

So, I begin the interesting task of teaching the twins to talk. I'm always curious what a child's first word will be. Giselle surprises me.

The teenagers' prom comes around quickly. I'm happy that Fiona decided to actually wear her dress this time around since we went through the trouble to pick one out for her last time when she didn't wear it. I... um... wonder about Antonio's fashion sense.

Link is going to the prom with his new girlfriend Chasity. She's a real sweet girl, but I don't know where she is. Nonetheless, my three teens pile into the limo that shows up, and they forget all about Tony standing on the sidewalk. I guess the driver didn't think he was going since his formal attire didn't look very formal. ... even if Donovan is wearing jeans.

They drive off and leave him.

Poor boy, he has to walk to prom.

It's a real crowd at the entrance to the school.

(Chasity leaves the school and comes to the Robles house and stands there all during prom, only to leave when it's over. Confusing, since she shows up in the comments and picture LOL.)

Donovan went alone since he really didn't have much time to ask anyone out, and that girl he brought home the other day already had a date. He had a good time until someone in the same ?tuxedo? stepped on his toe.

I'm so proud of my children and their amazing chicken dance ability. Wait a minute...just why was Antonio getting Fiona punch all evening? Hm?

      More Milo temper tantrum.

Pedro's next book is a best-seller! A Star is Born can't seem to stay stocked on the shelves! He's really happy.

Fiona calls Antonio, and he comes right over.

     And ages up.

He proceeds to teach her how to drive. I can hear the screeching tires all the way down the street.

Imagine my surprise when I wake up to aging up!

I don't let it get me down as I teach Milo to walk.

Also, before we expect it (really), it's time for Skye's birthday as well. I'm about to have four teenagers in the house. Fiona ages up soon, but for now I'll have four.

He looks a lot like his father, but I can sort of see me in him too.

Then, we all freeze in place. We're unable to move! The maker can't do anything for us either!

.........

      And then the world ends.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

My stupid game crashed on me right after he aged up. So, we'll see Skye age up again. He's adorable.

Sorry for this update being lame. I guess this is just one of those 'time has passed and here's what happened with no rhyme or reason to it'. Plot? Who needs a plot? We don't need no stinking plots!
There's actually a Link and Chasity date just before Skye ages up, but if I'd written that and added it to this chapter, it would've become a monster.

Alrighty, well, stuff that's happened:
Deaths: Vincentio Pantalone, Carlo Mancini, Luis Toledo, Isabella Monty
Age ups: Beppe Bianchi, Antonio (duh), Rose (duh)
Antonio got a reporter job once he aged up.
Rose got to level 10 in painting!
Pedro rolled the wish to have 10 kids. no, Pedro. No way.
Beppe marries Marta, Antonio's ex.
Patrizio Monty gets engaged pretty quick to someone named Rena Foster. So much for mourning!
Santos Rossi (mayor's son) marries Victoria Costa

Donovan chooses his LTW. Perfect student. :D
