My honeymoon ends quickly. I wish we could've stayed longer.
When we get back to Monte Vista, the Maker discovers that the consignment shop has an employee again! Mama can sell her paintings where they will sell better than the potion shop!
We have a very snowy winter this year. They cancel school many times, but each time, the bus still comes. Sometimes, Mama will scold the children for 'skipping' school, even though they couldn't attend if they wanted to. The Maker gets dozens of creepy notifications that all the children in the neighborhood are 'skipping' school.
Shauna keeps getting nauseated. At first, she's terrified she's pregnant, but then we discover it comes from a rock she has in her personal inventory, tiberium. How odd! She 'plants' the rock in one of the planters in Papa's old garden.
We worry for a while once after this because even after it leaves her inventory, Shauna takes a long time to recover from its effects.
Mama keeps going on and on about needing ingredients for a potion she's desperate to make. The snow being so deep makes it difficult to find rocks and, especially, insects. To everyone's surprise, Mama finds a parrot in the snow! She brings it home, making it our new family pet.
Speaking of things in the snow...what in the game is that?
It's complaining of being cold!
The Maker goes into buy mode for the lot and discovers that, to her horror, the blob in the snow is a baby!!! Leif Monty has been left out in the snow to die! (Not sure which branch the Monty family he's in)
She moves him into the house and grants the family a crib. She doesn't intervene any more than that, but we are all shocked to learn of the neglect.
I do not visit often the little garden lot I made with Tiffany. First of all, it wasn't what she wanted. Second, it was in fixing my mistake to only do what I wanted that made me seek out another spot of land, bringing me in contact once again with Willow. And then... Well, you know what happened.
At any rate, I see the roof of the greenhouse failed. It needs roof tiles placed under the roof pieces in order for it to work. The Maker doesn't have it written whether or not she fixed it.
Perhaps I should redesign the garden once more and leave my shrine to Tiffany there.
Shauna gets a job opportunity to take some pictures in France. Hesitantly, I agree to go.
My worry that the place would hold too many now-sad memories is unfounded. I have a very happy time with Shauna in France.
I fish a lot. I sing to the fish and frogs to get them to come to me. I'm not sure it works.
A very interesting tourist this man is. The towel is his everyday outfit. >.>
Shauna and I work on some of the sites.
And this is the last picture The Maker took for a long time. After this, when we tried to return to Monte Vista, the game crashed. It was something like the third or fourth crash of the day, and she'd gotten sick of the crashes. She put my legacy story on the shelf for about a year, planning on returning.
I am very glad She has. I still need to somehow produce another child in order to meet the generation requirements. I worry what this will mean to Shauna. I want her to have the baby, but she might not be able to.

I've never had my sims miss school because of snow. I've seen other players talk about it thought. LOL the man in the towel. I hate that! I've had it happen too.
ReplyDeleteIt really got irritating. Even when there wasn't the announcement that school had been cancelled, they still couldn't go to school. (It's like snow in Atlanta! OMG! We can't drive! Ah!)
DeleteThe towel dude cracks me up.
