Where were we? Oh yes. Brooke and Adam were kissing, etc in the living room when my game crashed. I found out I did indeed save Adam's wish to get married to somebody so yay for that!
kissey, kissey pic (how do you spell kissey anyway? kissy?):
I change Adam out of his workout attire, and Brooke gets really happy about it.
Adam wants to go to Champs les Sims, and I worry they really will need the money with that dastardly child support fee all the blasted time.
>:-) There's no child support payment due while on vacation hehe. So, off they go to hopefully make much more money than she did last time...

I decide to have Adam taggle along and help out with the more mundane things. Notice, Brooke is still the one clearing the rubble pile, so I guess you can't quite call this slave labor hehe.
Yes, I said taggle.
Adam doesn't like that I made him quit his job. He frequently worries about it, thinks about it, rolls wants to get back into it. Sorry, Adam. Remember? I said I was changing you, and I only have a few more thousand points and then I can change what you want out of life.
I do, however, agree with this want.
Awwwwwwww. :)
They both roll wants to go visit the museum, and Adam gets an idea...
I love love love that I have him do this in Champs les Sims.
She says yes. ... duh! o.O
Practicing the 'carrying over the threshold' bit? Looks like it, yes.
[Insert mushy stuff that I'm perfectly capable of writing, but I'm not because I'm lazy on this one.]
I still love that interaction though.
While Brooke wanders around looking for expensive rocks for an opportunity, Adam finds and befriends a macaw.
Uh, Adam, I hope you're not overly-fond of your jacket.
Pirate > Ninja
This random dude wanders into their room to make faces at himself in the mirror.
I just love the little thought bubbles that pop up while they sleep!
The whole next day was spent just getting random relics while Adam snagged some grapes and stuff at the nectary. Then, I send Brooke off to sell before time runs out! She actually did pretty good this time around, and I sort of kept up with what they spent and what they earned making them ahead $8,500 roughly overall.
Then I step out for a bit, come back, and of course, the game crashed. At least I'd just saved.

aww cute. That pesky child support LOL. He's in jail in my game, the second time he's been sent for failure to pay. :P
ReplyDeleteYes! Being on the other end of the child support sucks rotten pig butt. I'm not surprised he's been thrown in jail! I think he was up to the rookie job level whatever it is, still that's not enuf money! $400 court costs. hm..
DeleteAnd I dont remember at the moment if *I* have the option of not paying. I'd prefer to just not pay every once in a while.
I think you should stop walking away from your game. It seems like it only crashes when you're away!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, glad you weren't using Adam as a slave, and I got a little confused when you said you were changing him! I thought you had some kind of point system for him to make it as a spouse, but you meant change his LTW... That's fine :p
Nice romantic proposal in France, aww
Can you not turn child support off?
(And I spell it 'kissy', and I say it a lot.)
Oh, how I'd love to not walk away from my game. Unfortunately, there's this thing called real life that I've heard is important. /shrug. LOL.
DeleteYeah, I don't think I saw anything saying I couldn't change the LTW to suit my needs. I tend to miss things when there's loads to read. Either that, or he's miserable with the PI career, which.. apparently, he'll be miserable anyway. Maybe they can wait to have kids... *pointed stare at Brooke and Adam and their love for risky woohoo when I'm not looking*
:)
I think I can turn it off, but I'm not positive on how to go about doing it. I've at least hopefully tweaked it a little to not make it outrageous. I think he Should pay, just not that much! And again, a long list of stuff explaining things that don't answer my question while reading what SP really does and how to change things to suit me... *head spinning* too many words!
LOL okay. kissy.
Yeah, your game has some kind of abandonment issues, and crashes when you leave it. It's probably trying to get your attention. =P
ReplyDeleteThe proposal was really romantic.
I recently commandeered Adam to be one of Jack's buddies for that scene in my Brannon legacy. =D
My poor game! I need to send it into therapy cuz I'm gonna have to abandon it frequently or risk getting totally, absolutely nothing done.
DeleteI usually can't stand writing proposal speeches/wedding vows, but I like this proposal. :)
Ah, I guess I didn't recognize him cuz of your default skin and didn't you change the hair? He's a neat sim. She could've done much worse.
I spell it kissy. Just FYI. :D Since you asked. Haha.
ReplyDeleteAdam looks really cute in that second picture after he changed out of his workout clothes.
Romantic Mushy Words from Adam: Your shirt is as purple as the grapes I am collecting for nectar.
Adam=sexy pirate :)
I don't really understand the childish trait, and I act way younger than I am. Meh.
Haha, your game misses your face. :)
Hehe, fun to ask for opinions on a non-word. I guess that's how real words are born!
DeleteAdam IS really cute.
Mushy purple grapes on her shirt. LOL
hehe, and everyone knows: Pirates are better than Ninjas. It just makes common sense.
Well, the childish trait provides for entertaining occasions like that one.
So much for writing today then! I'm going in to play Adam and Brooke. LOL
