This is Rose Hudson. She's a copy of Marge/Rose Hudson from AMiT, but she's not the same person. I named the legacy after her, because it's her legacy.
She goes around town and meets a few of the locals, drawing a lot of attention to herself. She also gets noticed by a cute bartender named Pedro.
She eventually asks him to move in with her, and he happily accepts. He refuses to sleep with her, and he stays on the couch. He doesn't want to move as fast as Rose, and she gets frustrated about it. Eventually he does give in, and they woohoo for the first time in an igloo. Pedro starts working on becoming a novelist, and that's a good thing because he gets fired from his bartending job.
Poor as churchmice, he asks her to marry him on Christmas. He couldn't afford a diamond, so he got her a blue topaz.. to match her eyes. She loves it, but he hates how he couldn't get her a diamond.
They get married on Love Day at the park.
Then, they start working their butts off to make money and buy a new house. They eventually end up getting a loan for what they need. Rose's paintings sell for just enough for them to get buy.
They had to get the loan in a hurry because Rose gets pregnant. Pedro wants several children. Rose wants Pedro to be happy, and she doesn't mind making a large brood with him.
So... they have kids...
Fiona
Link
Donovan
Skye
Twins: Giselle and Milo
Meanwhile and after, family drama reigns supreme as the kids grow up.
Fiona gets a boyfriend in Antonio Monty. However, Allen Monty, who's her age and her best friend, has a thing for her too. There's a time when Allen exaggerates a story to get Fiona to break up with his brother and date him instead, but it doesn't work. Antonio proves his innocence.
Link falls hard and fast for Fiona's lab partner, Chasity Romano.
Then Fiona ages up and marries Antonio.
Link ages up not much after this and marries Chasity.
Skye finally convinces Carmen James to dump her boyfriend of Efren Denney and go steady with him.
When generation two starts, Skye, Giselle, and Milo are still teens. Neither of the twins have a boyfriend/girlfriend. I get plenty of messages about sims attracted to Giselle. I guess it's that aquaphobia trait that brings them in LOL.
The generation two heir is Donovan:
I love this picture.
I think that's the shortest summary I've ever written, but that's all you really need to know to get started with generation two. Donovan doesn't have a girlfriend, but it appears that Yvette Ferrari may have a thing for him, if she could only tell him.
Donovan is planning on going to college, so he doesn't move out. I don't think I'm going to move him out period.
At college, Don hopes to meet someone, but he won't allow chasing girls to take precedence over his GPA. His LTW is to get a degree with a perfect GPA.

"She loves it, but he hates how he couldn't get her a diamond."
ReplyDeleteThat line makes her sound like a golddigger! :p
This is very informative for such a short summary, well done :)
It does? To me, it sounds like she doesn't mind that they have nothing. Because HE hates how he couldn't get her a diamond and doesn't understand why she's not bothered by that.
DeleteMaybe I misunderstood you.
Thanks! I kept zipping through the chapters and thinking 'will they need to know this? no, and if they do, I'll just reference to it' over and over again, leaving everything out. LOL
Or maybe I misunderstood... Sorry, I thought it said 'SHE hates how he couldn't get her a diamond'.
Delete*facepalm*
I did think, I swear she liked the ring... So it all makes sense now!
Yeah, I can't do that :| I seem to take on too much to finish in one generation, so I drag it out. For example: I got seasons in gen 2. It's gen 4 and they've not named any seasons yet. Beginning to wish I'd just had weather appear and pretended it was there all along, but hey, we're on a voyage of discovery now!
I guessed (after the fact) that that's probably what you misread. I do that all the time and have to read things over again (even stuff I wrote) because my mind makes up and 'fills in the blanks' on stuff it thinks it needs to.
DeleteI normally can't. Me fly through stuff and leave out little details like what they had for lunch? Me? Naw, no way. LMAO.
Eh, as far as weather goes, just go with it. We'll accept whatever your sims society makes up.
Yeah, I do that. Sometimes I skip a line too, and it almost makes sense, but then I re-read it to get it to soak in, and think "I've not read this..." And so have to read it a few more times to work out what I did.
DeleteLOL!
I've got all the weather worked out. Need to name the seasons, which will be done with by the end of generation 6 (I know, I'm playing a long-game now...). Think you can work out why I had to use the name I did for someone I recently introduced...
(Just wrote the chapter explaining the markings. I hope you'll accept whatever I made up for that, because I'm not even sure I understand what I wrote :|)
Hehe, yeah, I think I've got where so-n-so got his name. :)
DeleteIt's your story. If we don't accept it, it's our problem lol.
I have no idea why I just snaked my head just now. 'tude problem today I guess hehe.
I wouldn't move Donovan out either if I were you. I'd keep him in the household FORever. *faints again*
ReplyDeleteHehe, well, thing is, if I move him out, I'll be going with him and then I'd miss out on Skye, Giselle and Milo's teenager drama junk. :D
DeleteTold you I effing love that pic lol. :)
