Brooke 9: Having two mummies

Good thing this didn't actually happen. I'd forgotten I rolled "deadbeat parents." I had a major crash after this. Still, it's a cute picture.

A pic of Adam "working." I don't see what playing in the ocean has to do with working on The Case of the Tattooed Thief. Besides, it's either late fall or early winter, and from what I've gathered about the residents, it's a town in the north somewhere. That water has to be freezing. To each his own, I guess.

Whamo! Back in Egypt. Like I've said before, I'm not going to bore you or myself with the details of the tombs, but I had to take this picture.

Irl, I got a haircut, so I made my simself reflect that. Here she is sitting in front of the computer in the MorcuCorp headquarters ready to hack into it. Other than the hacking thing (way above my head), I felt this truly looked like me...

...until I made this pic. Now that's me. Sitting in front of a laptop. Yep. Me.

Visa level 3! Finally! I can buy that little open house way up in the hills. Wait... I have a quest to do the huge pyramid. The house can wait. :)

You know what's worse than having a mummy come out of a sarcophagus when you come near it?

Having two mummies come out of their sarcophagi when you come near them. Dang it, I have to go there too to get to the treasure chest I need. What if one comes out the middle? My body skill level is 5. I don't think I can take one, much less two, definitely not three mummies.

Oh. Good. Well, that solves that problem. Yay.

Another yay: got the little house. I upgrade the bed and stuff. Then I magically upgrade the appliances.

Fishing. The fridge is totally empty, and that bugs me.
She has some quests to go talk to people... I think. Anyway, I don't worry about it because she doesn't have a whole 'lotta time left. Instead, we go fishing.

And cook the fish. And burn the fish. Sigh.

This is definitely making its way into the "random stuff" tab.

You turn off Nraas SP, and this is what EA SP does. It puts everyone in some kind of entertainment job. This guy's actually pretty good, so she stops to listen after selling a bucketload of relics.

I was doing a huge list of expenses and earnings, but then I found a huge amount more since I kept track of house furniture expenses. She came up in the red at less §1,689 than she started. BUT there was property bought which cost more than she'd normally spend.

Meanwhile... back at the Hall of Justice...

Sometimes, I wonder if the game is psychic with the next generation's roll. I didn't finish this, but I wanted to know what his first word would be anyway. No, I didn't roll Astronomer. He's going to be a movie director. Yep, I may as well get ready to be swarmed with paparazzi.

 Speaking of goals and rolls: 6 tombs done in Egypt. 5 in France. Only 3 in China.

Brooke 8: Deep-fried bacon

     Neither Luna nor Paul are interested in letting Brooke sleep peacefully.

Brooke: I've been "sleeping" for quite a while now. It's about time you played this save again.
Me: Actually, this is from ages ago. I've no clue where my notes are, so we'll just fly by the seat of our pants.

Adam likes the seat of Brooke's pants. Does he honestly expect Brooke not to notice he's looking at her butt?

Well, poof! We're in Champs les Sims! I guess Brooke's timer ran down and CLS was the next place to go. Guess also that she wanted to upgrade this sucker before she used it. I do remember having her spend a bit of time here due to her tasks and finding loot.

The door swings out. Out. As in, it's possible that someone could be walking towards it with the intent to walk inside when someone else is simultaneously walking out, thereby almost hitting the person about to walk inside in the face. If that person walking in is also a klutz, the person walking out would have to catch her if he's nice.
That's not quite a ramble. There's a reason that, ages ago, I took this picture. hehe.

Everywhere Brooke goes, temptation follows her. The dude walking in is Gerard Morel. I think... Anyway, he's married, and I have to watch both of them closely to keep them from flirting. I think that's the wife that Brooke talks to.

I get aggravated that Brooke doesn't have a real good quest line going and only getting FedEx quests and the like, but I manage anyway. I want her visa level up.

Finally!

So, I have her buy a plot of land and put the sultan's tabernacle tent thing on it. I don't like it. I take the tent off and go see if I can move her anywhere, and all of a sudden, the plot of land she spent 2k on sells for 50k!? wha? I didn't set out to have that happen, but I'll be danged if I don't want that money. It's probably against the rules, but I decide to go with the game's mistake.

This is a great house! And I picture once Paul gets to child that I'll bring the boys here and they'll have an actual family vacation (with Mommy working every so often).

Just noticed... Random Simming now has more posts than SWNT. I guess it makes a difference that there's more than one storyline going on this one. :)
