Brooke 7: Full frontal view

And we join Brooke back at home.

Luna missed her.
Everyone! All together now:
AWWWWWWW!!!
Okay, so, yes I know that in the rest of the family's way of thinking no time has gone by. Narnia-ish.

See, Adam? I told you you weren't meant to be a professional athlete. You were meant to be a hacker. Huh? Oh, sorry. An investigator. Big whoop.
Still, he gives me something to do while I wait for Brooke's "you can't go on vacation again yet" timer to run down.
I changed Adam's hair. It's cute on him. I'll show a front pic in a min.

Adam solved another case and won an award from the mayor. I actually followed him to the courthouse to see if there was going to be some big to-do celebration about it. Nope. I guess they cancelled due to rain. Yeah.
Anyway, I thought this was a neat little bit to the courthouse/whatever on the corner of it.

Adam has the daredevil trait. That one always entertains me because of extreme this and that.
The above is an example of extreme rocking, dude! (I added the dude part.)

(and no, this isn't the front pic yet. This is a side pic.)

Adam: I thought you wanted to write a book not be a tomb raider.
Brooke: No. That's the other me, the one that bosses us around.
Adam: Then shouldn't she be working on her book and not goofing around on the sims?
Me: Shut up! I'll get on it later! I'm burnt out. Now, go get out in the rain again!

(sadly, not a frontal shot yet either because I didn't change his pj hair and I'm too lazy to do it yet.)

Just another lovely day in Aurora Skies (Rainy Skies). Perfect for sitting out on the bench in front of the house to read the paper before the newsprint gets smeared everywhere.

Adam got a random phone call that I got no info on, so I'm pretending that this is him arguing with his slut babymama. I'm making like he's fighting a custody battle for Noah. Yeah. If this was a real story, I could really beef up the drama. But it's not a real story, so I'm not!

(this view doesn't count!)

The gym next door makes the perfect location to hide for a stakeout.

Oh yeah, they can't see through your disguise at all.

yeah.
So, this stakeout gets Adam the needed bit to promote him. Now, we have that useless door! woo.
He's a Superfluous Sleuth. Superfluous. Doesn't that pretty much mean unnecessary?
Superfluous: 1. being more than is required, excessive, unnecessary, needless. 2. possessing or spending more than necessary. (paraphrased from dictionary.com)
Yep. aka, not needed. great job title there! hehe

Brooke: No no no! That's mommy's nose!

I finally for the first time got a trick-or-treater! ... and he's not even in costume. -.-

Brooke has been wanting to go to Egypt for a while now, and her timer has finally gone down! :)

Nice place to camp out. And I thought it was purdy. :)

The relic merchant dude (didn't write his name down) wouldn't stop trying to flirt with Brooke. He was single, but dude! She's married! Then... Brooke started flirting back! Oh no you don't!

Brooke gets what she wants out of him (to ask him as one of 3 locals about MorcuCorp or however the hell you spell it) and then walks away. He forlornly watches her go.

Then he gets a girlfriend, gets engaged, and gets married. Damn, SP. You don't waste time, do you? I feel sorry for whoever his wife is.

Anyone ever seen these eyes peeping out through the mineshaft thing? (Still in Al Simhara)

Anyway, Brooke gets her visa status to lvl 2 and doesn't complete all she needs to in Egypt, but at least next time she'll have a longer period of time to get stuff done. Then, I wanna buy that open-air 'house' on top of the little lake.
So, spent = 6,166. earned = 14,649. profit = 8,483. Not too shabby. :)
(still, drives me nuts that she found a cut pink diamond worth over 7k. pretty, expensive decoration)

Paul's age up shot pre-makeover.
I must've had a thing with the name Paul because there's a Paul in my book as well who's a bad guy. I'll be sure to make this Paul NOT a bad guy. hm... well, crazy roll that he has (yes, he's the heir), that might be impossible. We'll see.

Brooke's eyes are contacts (even under the glasses) because I tried to recreate my eyes. Didn't really work. They're supposed to be sky blue with yellow around the pupil. Fail lol.

post-makeover. Dunno if I'll keep that hair. It looks wolfish to me. Maybe that's not a bad thing. Sorry I didn't get a frontal shot. I guess you can't have everything. :P

Adam did another hacking case, and the dude's family was so unhappy with him that I kept getting the "Adam is behaving inappropriately" message. Then the family members followed him home. Geez! Uber-stalkers!

Then, the daughter goes upstairs to play with Paul. Somebody needs a makeover.
I can just hear Paul: Oh yeah, b*tches always wanting me. They can't resist me.

Much better imho. I gave her that slightly-rebel-but-still-has-to-wear-a-school-uniform look. It's Jennika Wong, daughter of the previously-invisible dude. (oh, right, but that didn't actually happen. Shh!)

I've always wanted to try this, and I heard you get better results using the same type of item. I've heard with rocks that you get a skull. With copper bars you get...

A bigger copper bar. -.-

Next, Brooke is going back to France. :) I can't believe how much fun I'm having with the first expansion pack. hehe. I'd never done all of it, and I'm looking forward to when I get to the point that I've not done something yet. I mean like a tomb I haven't done.

(and I'll bet you thought I forgot!)
Yay! The full frontal view of Adam and his new 'do. I did this to compare him and Paul. I think Paul has his eyes. Def. Brooke's haircolor. So, Noah is his little clone and Paul looks kinda like him.

Brooke 6: Hamsters are better than parrots

Adam teaching Mike how to sing. It was cute, and it's another thing I haven't experienced from all these expansion packs that I treat like stuff packs on steroids.
Oh, and it's raining. It's almost always raining.

     I. Hate. That. Stupid. Light. And EA/Maxis designers love to put it in houses. It hangs down too far and the little pull thing at the bottom of it shows up in pictures way too easily.
However, I'm too lazy to go and remove it to replace it with something else. I still complain about it though. :P

Adam, in the rain, grilling hot dogs. I'm happy he didn't burn them. :D

Adam doesn't think much of being awakened at night. I tried to get Brooke up before Paul could start crying, but he cried before she could comfort him (low social). Geez, Adam, get over it.

Mr. Fluffykins!!!! He's trying to pass himself off as the fun-loving, loyal pet named Crosby Vinter, but we know who he really is!
Really, I was just out looking for pets to socialize with Luna 'cause Brooke and Adam are always distracted, and I found him. Then, I found the unicorn and went nuts taking pics.

This is the only picture I'll torture you with. My AS has a black unicorn. That's significant for some reason that I can't remember. Something about what the different unicorns do. Oh well. I like this picture anyway.

The following doesn't count other than some cute pics. This is Luna meeting Cash Sandstorm. My game crashed (figures), and I hadn't saved after this.
They 'talk' about the other types of pets their owners have. No one notices the raccoon in the background that's mad it has a routing failure to get to knock over the trashcan. I'm more surprised the two dogs don't go after it.

Cash convinces Luna that hamsters are better than parrots.

Okay, Luna. What is up with that???!!! Why is there a smiley face next to the flea?

Finally, the dogs stop talking the middle of the street (that always bothers me) and go play.
     Awwwwwwwww!

-game crash-

     Not awwwwwwww. >:|

So, a few days later and after forcing myself to get loads of stuff ready for CLJS and one chapter of SWNT, I go back to Brooke. I didn't feel like doing all the crap I did over again and instead sent her to Shang Simla.

Normally, I don't mind the attraction system too much, but it does get on my nerves when married people do this. I think he's married too. Brooke kept wanting to flirt with him. He kept calling her. Him and another dude and the woman that runs the bookstore.
I won't bore you with her doing all her dungeon stuff. Oh, I think it's more accurate to call it 'tomb' stuff. Brooke Birch: Tomb Raider. No mummies yet.

The lion that refused to render.

I'm always so glad when the excavate works properly even if it's not on a completely-flat surface.

Pretty pictures.

Finally!!!!!! I have that blasted axe!

Completing all that got Brooke the visa status level 3, and I bought a small piece of property.

Not a whole lot here in this pic, but I've already built a bedroom and took advantage of that nice view with a decently-sized window. :)

Then it was time to go home. I crunched the numbers to see how much spent versus how much gained funds-wise, and I made just over 7k. I don't understand that since it really only looks like I made 2k, but I probably left something out. Ah well, money made is made money!

I guess now back to Adam and his investigator job tracking down criminals and their gnome-kicking tendencies. The gnomes are not happy...

Brooke 5: In the time before rendering

Luna goes outside to pee (great dog), and howls. Then I find out why...

That must've been extremely painful to suddenly grow to ten times your size!
She's a big dog. I hadn't expected that.

Never had a lazy pet before. This is hilarious!

Adam is such a sweet husband. :)
Anyway, apparently I can't adopt Noah since the other child has to be adopted in a non-biological adoption. Oh well. Maybe I can work him in somehow in another way. As in, send him to his 'grandmother's' or 'aunt's' or something. Edit: Turns out I can, so I will!

Just a silly Luna pic.

Luna and Brooke get along much better. Luna still has the occasional 'holy crap! my owner is a witch!' moments, but it's more something about which I'm more entertained instead of annoyed most of the the time.

Boy, dammit! I mean.. Boy!

Luna pees on their bedroom floor, and there's a routing failure preventing them from cleaning it up.
Does this thought mean Luna wants to get doggie-married? Puppies would be cool since they're only going to have two kids (and I'm planning the adoption for much later).

Adam in his workout wear, getting an opportunity call from his other baby mama. >.>

The baby doesn't have its own room yet, so I just slapped some furniture in their bedroom. I can't decide if I wanna move them to a new house or not. I like the size of this house, but they really don't need such a big house, and the layout is a little strange. I'm still debating.

"He said Daddy!"
"No, he didn't."
"I swear I heard him say Daddy!"

Looks like the cop-lady has another mess to clean up.

I particularly enjoy Luna's thoughts while the burglar gets beat up and arrested. So much more interesting than the boring, usual ones that Adam and Brooke do.

In the time before rendering, there are only shadows of things to come.

Adam had a wish sitting around to do a stakeout. So, I simply click on him while they visit a community lot and have him do it. Does he go outside? Nope. He spins into his swanky work wear and pulls out the bush pompoms. Go Adam go! I'm sure they'll never see you there especially with the way you have your back turned to everyone on the lot.

Brooke stops reading to go into labor. Birth pics always crack me up.

Ever the good husband, Adam packs his wife up in the car I didn't have to pick out and buy and drives her to the hospital in his swanky work attire.

I wouldn't want to go into a hospital if the first person I see leaving it is a ghost. Nope nope nope!
There's not much of a choice in Aurora Skies, however, and the pair of them go inside to have their baby.

Brooke somehow magically beams over the stroller from the living room to put little Paul into.
Yay! A boy! Friendly and Genius. Very good traits. I don't have written whether or not I picked 'em or rolled 'em. Either way, her pregnancy was great. I bet I picked 'em.

I save right away. I get up for a second. Game crashes. Haha! Take that, game! I lost nothing !!!!
