I start filling Hugo in on what I've done over the past few days, and he listens. The way he looks at me is like he wants to memorize every inch of my face so he could later draw it. He's not an artist like I am, but he's looking at me like I would look at something if I wanted to draw it.
He stays the night, sleeping on the couch in the living room.
The next morning, he and Justin play a round of horseshoes. He doesn't stay much longer after that, giving me a kiss on the cheek before he leaves. I hate that he had to leave, but the game only had him stay that long.
Katherine gets bigger every day, and she doesn't look too happy about it. She's worried she's so big that she's carrying twins. (and The Maker thinks that She's cursed with too many sets of twins since She's had more twin births than singles)
Daddy still looks happy.
We don't stay much longer, our short vacation over, and we all return home.
Dad takes good care of Katherine.
Katherine's (and The Maker's) fears are unfounded. She has one baby, a boy they name Mickey. (edit: I just realized... That's a monkey on his onesie. Laugh if you get it!)
We all love him to pieces.
I childishly worry that Dad will have less time for us, but that isn't the case. In fact, he spends as much time with us as he can, knowing we're going to grow up soon.
I invent a new way to write on my schoolbook.
Did I mention grow up soon? Yeah. Dad throws us a party, and Mom is the caterer. She tells us that Blaze died.
Justin isn't as thrilled about growing up as I am.
Justin and I decide to go and finally meet our twin half-brother and half-sister. Awwwwww, they remind me of little us-es. The girl is Christine, and the boy is Noah. They both sorta look like Blaze, but I see a bit of Mom in them too.
I try to connect with Christine since we're sisters and all, but I think she thinks I'm strange.
Oh yeah! I changed my hair. I wonder what Hugo will think of it when he sees me. The Maker made several other teens grow to adult as well.
Christine and Noah have an easier time talking to Justin. I try to get in a comment now and then, and I get the feeling they're all just being polite. Well, not Justin. He's used to me.
I'm just like Mom. If they get on with Mom well, why do they have a problem with me? Oh well, they're still my siblings, and I love them anyway.
I rent an apartment in a duplex. The one on the left is mine. Somebody lives in the other one, but I haven't met him or her yet. I suppose I will eventually.

That's it for generation one! I've moved out Jenny, and like I explain in the beginning of the next chapter, I'm making her the heir, at least for now.
Here's baby brother Mickey grown to kid (happened as soon as Jenny moved out, go figure):

aww all the kids are cute. Congrats on getting just one baby this time. I've heard the game has had a serious twin glitch going.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Jenni being the heir.
Really? A glitch? Well, that makes me feel better. Twins are supposed to be rare.
DeleteThanks. :)
