Mitchell Keilani
Monique Gillian started staying with us. At first, I thought she was only interested in J because she focused all her attention on him.I always have thought she was pretty, so when she started paying attention to me, I could hardly believe it. After all, she'd recently broken up with a guy named Blaze and had dated Don for a while. I didn't really think I was her type.
Then, she gets pregnant, and it's mine. I'm going to be a daddy... and I still feel like I barely know the future baby's mama.
She gets big quickly... very quickly. I guess she has a good appetite.
The delivery day comes too quickly, and a baby boy pops out that she names Expensive. She claims it's because The Maker thinks the game is too expensive.
Then another baby arrives! A girl that she names Very.
Expensive and Very: my twins.
This picture, when it was taken, was one that The Maker thought was a "farewell to Sims 4" screenshot. Guess she changed her mind.
Monique and I begin our lives as parents. She takes it much harder than I do. Babies cry. It's what they do.
"They're doing this on purpose! They know I'm trying to get some sleep!"
I don't bother replying because she wouldn't hear me over the twins' screaming, not to mention she has her fingers in her ears.
We each take a baby and get everything back to peaceful. I start thinking about the twins, about how they might one day see me. I'm not even their mother's boyfriend for goodness sake.
When I try to broach the subject with Monique, she immediately shuts me down, not wanting to talk about it. I don't understand her! One minute, she acts like she loves me and the next like she can't stand the sight of me.
"But what about the twins?"
"They're just babies, Mitchell! Give it a rest! I'm still young, and I have things to do."
But babies grow up, I think loudly but don't speak it. She stomps out of the room to elsewhere in the house.
Here's as good a place as any to mention that Monique doesn't work. She told me she's never held down a job for more than six months before she can't stand it anymore and quits. She hasn't worked ever since finding out she was pregnant.
When I do finally locate Monique, I find her sleeping in Gavin's bed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So.... yeah.... I got 4. I hate that I'm playing a game-made family +1, but that's what I did during the trial game time. I originally had Monique all by herself, but I moved her in with these guys to try out a large family/friends household because I liked them. She was supposed to go after J, but he's such a meanie that she gravitated to Mitchell, and then, as you see when I finally started taking pics, she got pregnant. Before this, she had a real huge thing going with Don Lothario (rolls eyes) and some other townie dude I liked... but she broke his heart.
I'm not even sure I'm going to stick with this, but here it is anyway in its super-simple form. Sorry if I'm not bothering to explain things like who Gavin and J and Don and Blaze are. Gavin is a housemate along with J.

LOL those names...Very and Expensive. hahahaha
ReplyDeleteYep. Well, I thought at the time that it didn't matter. :)
DeleteThis is interesting ;)
ReplyDeleteI like how the couple came about, and the life you've breathed into the male of the two.
I laughed at that farewell to Sims4 picture! I've not opened my game after two tries... Just don't like it.
interesting.... hmm... hehe. :)
DeleteYou know, it's funny, but for hours and hours of gameplay, it was all about Monique. I never would've guessed that I'd pick Mitchell to be the "voice" of the story, but that's how it happened.
The game is fine...provided I remind myself it's a different game. I still think sims 3 is better, especially for picture taking/storytelling purposes. This is just me continuing to fool around on the shiny, new game. :)
