Uncomplicated 1.4: Nice rod you got there

Uncomplicated just got more complicated. I couldn't stand it, and I installed Generations and Ambitions because the job choices were so lacking. I plan on Tim and Mia having a baby soon, and since I only rolled 2 kids and step-parents, I still wanted them to have a kid to be the heir. I guess Levi is superfluous, expendable, whatever. Anyway, the roll I did for the next gen gave me a --- base game career. How's that for irony? At any rate, now they can have more decent hobbies.
Still, the laptop game is INCREDIBLY simpler than my desktop game.

Tim simultaneously has the "I'm happy I'm married!" and the "I'm sad and in mourning." moodlets cancelling each other out.

Well, one good thing about the 2 exp packs I installed is that I have the consignment store. Not that I can do much with it, they're mostly broke all the time cuz I wanna buy stuff in the object catalog.

This is Roger and Fern, his new wife and baby mama. I send Mia (she was going stir crazy!) down to check out the consignment store, and these two are already there.

Mia: So, where's your new baby?

Roger: Don't worry. I left him swimming in the pool at home.

While Roger and Mia talked about his stellar parenting skills (no consignment store specialist yet), Fern was off making me some free artwork. *swipe*
Oh, Mia has the klepto trait anyway, not that that stops anyone from taking it.

I wondered what Tim had gotten himself up to, and I find that he's bonding with his step-son over a game of tag. I think he likes being a step-dad, at least to Levi. He's really the only dad Levi's ever known.

Since Tim's boss died, Moe (bff) is his new one. How convenient.

Tim got Monday and Tuesday off since he got married, so I thought I'd send him fishing to stock the fridge with more goodies.

Nice rod you got there, Tim.

I guess it's not the size that counts after all.

Monika had an opportunity to increase grades by going out and getting a PT job. I chose the bookstore. That job sucks! She's always so tired cuz all she does is work and do homework and sleep and go to school, etc.

 Still, Tim and Mia fix up some showers for an opportunity and make enough money to buy the treehouse and stuff.
I really need to get them some bushes or something. Their house has NO curb appeal.

I got them a better bed since Tim doesn't normally get to do much sleeping. Plus, that wallpaper was getting on my nerves. Too busy!

And I'll leave you with Tim's new work threads. He got a promotion to trauma surgeon (6). His reg work hours are 7-3, much better! ☺
I like keeping up with the dr hours on my own cuz I'm curious.
