Stuff I forgot to put at the end of the last one:
Tim promotion to lvl 7, gene therapist. $194/hour and MTRF (R=Thursday) 9-2. Much better. :)
Roger and Fern have another baby, a girl named Shayna
Levi got the natural cook trait.
Mia got promoted pretty quickly to fitting room guard.
The cute little girl in the last pic (as well as some earlier) is named Maryann Barbarossa.

Earlier, I'd been using my husband's laptop, but now I have my own. So, I copied the save file and put it into mine so that I could continue with Tim.
I got all the crap I thought I needed, but I didn't go on a CC quest other than some of the store stuff I wanted to include...
I need those hairs. I must find them again. Later. I want to play, dangit!
Meanwhile, Tim gets the 'bodacious bangs' hairdo. Not bad, actually.
I really want those CC hairs back. Monika's isn't bad, but Mia... ugh.
Moe (Tim's bff) and Patty breakup. I don't think they were married.
It's baby making time...
Tim and Mia go at it like rabbits, and for a little bit, Tim thinks about stuff other than work.
Even with level 3 logic skill, Levi still successfully blows himself up. This is about the 6th time.
Level 4... ah! Yay! Finally, he makes a mood enhancer potion as his first one.
Random note I made to myself: Why did I plant another apple tree? Why? They're swimming in apples. /sigh
Looks like it's working!
Yeah, we'll forget you beat him up on day 1, Nina. Sure...
Anyway, Tim has another work do-hicky-ma-jig he has to go do. This time, he's diagnosing. It's cute to watch. Kinda creepy to be doing it at the cemetery though. Hm.
Mia is about to (any day now) spin into maternity wear. Looks like our Tim has refocused his attention back on his career.
Cute maternity wear for once.
You can see Tim through the window leaving to go back to work (on call). Doesn't look like Mia minds much. She's happy she gets 4 paid days of maternity leave.
With this pic, I'm imagining these two having kids. Scary. (Grant Coastal)
Tim's turn to age to mature adult.
One really cool thing about being preggers and having a doc hubby high enough up is asking your doc hubby the sex of the baby. He says it's a boy. We'll see how good a doc Tim is, I guess.
I hear a conversation going on in the background...
Levi: The baby is sleeping in your room.
Monika: No, he's going to be a boy. He's sleeping in your room. Besides, the crib is already in there.
Levi: It can fit in your room just as well.
Monika: No, it works better in yours.
Levi: We could trade rooms.
I wanted to catch Tim with the 'boy' thought bubble above his head, but he was only thinking about how tired he was. So, I'm keeping the close up shot of him. Still cute, just more... mature looking. Maybe it's time to get a more mature looking hairstyle. hm.
Monika: It's your turn to have a baby in your room. You ruined my night's sleep when you were a baby. I've already done my time.
Levi turns and glares at Monika: He should sleep in your room. Maybe you could convince Mom and Dad to get you a new bed. Besides, taking care of babies is women's work.
Monika: Oh you did not just say that. You make me want to hit you in the head with a frying pan.
Levi laughs: I'd like to see you try!
Tim dreaming about how great Tim is. He's not having a midlife crisis. He's very happy with how his life is turning out. Level 7 of his doctor career path, married into a ready-made family, a baby of his own on the way... life is good!
I think Levi lost that argument. His consolation is that at least he's not getting another sister.
----------------------
Moe and Patty Abe (got her preggers before they broke up) had a boy named Edgardo. For once, I like the automatic naming going on in the 'hood. I'll let SP keep naming the kids.

Tim's hair made me lol. No idea why, because it could be SO much worse, it's not even bad, really.
ReplyDeleteHehe, Levi and Mia's baby argument :)
OH! So it's doctors who can tell you the sex? I thought it was a werewolf thing! Makes more sense your way ;) My simselfs boyfriend and baby daddy was a weredoctor, and for some reason I assumed it was the wolfy powers that made him tell me the gender :P I'm so clever sometimes...
Love that scanner thing! Hehe, they both look terrified! And I assume it's in the cemetary to save walking as far if they're dying ;) They can book their plot while they wait as well!
It's different, but it's grown on me. Mostly because I don't feel like trying to find that hair or transfer it via some other way from hub's puter.
DeleteI'm not accustomed to seeing the thought bubbles (etc), so they distract me when they show up. Of course, I have to make something of it.
Yep! One of the reasons that I wanted to wait on when he'd get Mia preggers is so that he'd be high enough in the med job to be able to tell her.
Idk if were's can't. They might. Animal senses and all...
That scanner thing is cool. Just another reason I wanna figure out how to extract things like that in the game and make them usable decor, etc.
LOL cemetery -- makes sense.
Hey! He's a good doctor. /folds arms defensively.
hehe
LOL loved the fight with the siblings. I wouldn't want the baby in my room either, stick him with his parents. :)
ReplyDeleteHehe, but really, Levi had more room. :)
DeleteLMAO Monica and Levi's conversation/argument was amusing. I have that link to Tim's hair if you really want it. Considering you wrote this post a while ago IDK if it's still relevant, but I thought I'd throw it out there. :)
ReplyDeleteIt makes so much sense that doctors can tell genders of babies, cause that is part of a doctor's job. LOL that lady's face that Tim was scanning. She was the one who beat him up earlier? How rude. Haha, serves her right that she needs a medical scan.
I had to throw that in. I couldn't just let it go. Besides, I don't do the thought bubbles in anything but my legacies.
DeleteReally?! I don't need it anymore, but I'd like to have it anyway. :) Please, yes.
She needs a brain scan haha.
Anubis Anto Hair Here ya go. :D I'm pretty sure that's the same one. :)
DeleteYay! Thank you!
DeleteGood for Tim :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes those thought bubbles are just perfect.
:)
DeleteYes, and even if they're not, I try to make them fit anyway. To me, that's part of the challenge.
