Uncomplicated 1.3: Beat it with a hammer!

I've been real sick recently, so I did a lot of mindless playing as well as get pics for 2 story updates. I meant to do an update for Skye, but I had some pose problems and didn't have the energy to fix it. Anyway, this update looks long because it's pic heavy, but the reading is fast.

I said I'd show a made-over Monika. So, here she is. It's still not the best shot. The camera doesn't really like her.

Their first dinnertime in their new house, and Mia catches the stove on fire. Figures.

Ummmm.... THIS is the firetruck? Did it change with Ambitions? I need to install Ambitions for the job options. Before I know it, I'll have to do the next gen's roll, and I don't want to do that 'pick a number' thing. Think I'll just use an old roller and reroll the stuff I don't have/can't do. Just thinking aloud.
edit: I've said before that I'm lazy right? I finally decided to go and actually look at it, and I really like the newest roller. I can set it right. :D

Anyway, I had to constantly keep them outside. The freaking out gets on my nerves!

After a gazillion pause-'x'out-freak-out-interaction-unpause-...-repeat things, I noticed the firewoman was having difficulties, so I sent in some help.

Then Tim decides that he'll handle making dinner tonight... hehe.

 baby Levi. I wonder if it's just my game that the babies look like they have wrinkles. Still, imho, he doesn't look as wrinkled as Monika did at this larval stage.

Levi's birthday party. I forgot that people bring food. I had Tim prepare deep fried turkey legs, then someone brought a tursoykey, and someone else brought salmon. They were eating good for days. Someone else also brought something that was in a bowl, mac and cheese, I think, but they left it up near the mailbox. It spoiled.
Anyway, by the time Mia FINALLY makes it over to the cake with Levi, he's messed himself, so he's screaming his head off.
See all these lovely people at his b'day party? It's great, right? Wait... where's Daddy? Where's Roger? HE'S NOT THERE. Why? He was off getting engaged to his next baby mama, Fern Annan. -.-

Got an age-up shot when the crosseyed thing finally went away. He has pretty green eyes and that crazy dark blond/light brown that looks green hair.

Here's Nina Caliente again. I think she married, but I can't remember her married name. Anyway, she obviously thinks more of Levi than she does of Tim. She cared for him for the rest of the party.

Yeah, thanks, Dina. I see you had a great time at the party...
I think... I THINK she's preggers here. At least she puked outside.

Towards the end of the party, Tim pops the question.  ☺

She says yes, of course. I like how Moe looks like he's congratulating his buddy on his way out the door.

Levi's first word. Interesting. I guess the fire affected him more than we know. He'd been in his crib screaming his head off cuz he was lonely, but I couldn't get anyone to do anything with him.

I'm not going to have Mia start up her part time job thing that I 'rolled' yet because I want her to stay at home for a while. She's handy, so I have her working on fixing up a few of their appliances.
This is just how I fix things too! Beat it with a hammer! Yes, that always works!

Roger and Fern get married and have a son named Daryl.

Wait... the laundry cart was on its way to the garbage?

more gossip:
Moe Pesce (Tim's bud) has had a thing going with Patty Abe, and they had a "software" failure. They're expecting a little baby. The most stuff I have written down is that they're going steady. I think before I quit they'd had the baby, but I don't have anything written.

Tim gets another promotion to intern! (4) He has to work crazy hours. 9am-7pm, and in this pic, he's been called in to work MORE. He doesn't look too unhappy about it. Crazy workaholic.

It is so strange to have to limit the number of books because they can't afford it. At any rate, Mia starts going stir crazy. I also have to fix BB because there are NO WILD PLANTS ANYWHERE! I go in and put simple stuff like at the campgrounds and beach lots and stuff. I'd wanted Mia to harvest some and start up a little tiny garden. I didn't overdo it, but that's stupid that they forgot to put in harvestables like that.

I've decided to wait a week so that Tim and Mia can get married on a Saturday. The last thing they need is for Tim to get called in during the wedding party. Plus, he gets home so late. He's always so tired.

Well well well... looks who's a Mr. Doctor-man! Tim got a promotion to resident, and now he only works 9-6. Only a tiny bit better. He's still on call what feels like every night.
(that kid on the couch is a neighborhood kid that needs a makeover, but I'm too lazy)

In fact, in that last pic he was headed out on call again, and he finally gets off work only 2 hours before he has to go back in. So, I have him take a nap on the bench outside the hospital. The stupid carpool still shows up though and annoys me for an hour game time.

Monika's birthday flies up on me on a Friday, so that afternoon they throw a party per Mia's wish. Roger actually comes to the party!

I gave her the frugal trait. I can't remember her other ones other than snob is one of them.

The wedding day finally arrives. Tim finally gets in some medical journal reading time.

Levi ages to kid with no big deal made out of it at all. It was time for it, so I made it happen. I'd done all I was supposed to do with him including some music and logic stuff. Now, he has the athletic, artistic, and virtuoso traits.... and a real problem with shirts.

These two (Monika and ... I never wrote down his name) really get to flirting at the wedding.

There's no wedding arch in base game!!! WTH? I can't find it!

Laughing at the girls isn't going to make you very popular with them, Levi.

There's always one wedding well-wisher that doesn't get the hint that people have moved on from that... I had to reset her eventually.

Tim's boss, Mary Soto (I think) dies. This is very traumatic for him.

Next, Monika talks with him for a bit before he disappears, and she finds out that he's 18 days older than her. O.o okay.
