Donovan
"But the bugs are going to eat me alive." I tell Link after he insists that I shoot for him.
"Come on. Just for a little while." he begs.
"What if I get sunburned?" I ask. I hate being outside.
"You won't get sunburned in this short amount of time. Besides, it's too late in the day anyway."
"It's already starting to feel hot on my skin. You're lucky you got your skin tone from Dad." I argue.
"What's a-matter, Donny? Chicken?"
"No." I answer. Link can be such a turd sometimes.
He spins into his athletic wear and starts taunting me. "Nah nah nah-nah nah nah, Donny can't get the ball past me!" He sticks his tongue out and waves his hands in the air. Then he turns around and waves his butt back and forth.
"You're such a dweeb." I say.
"Fine, prove it and get the ball past me. It ain't happening."
"Turn around again, and I'll send this thing flying right into your ass." I threaten.
He doubles over, laughing. Then we get distracted by someone walking up to us.
"Hello, boys. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about your father." she says.
Paparazzi. Great, I think sarcastically.
"No. Go away. We're busy." Link snaps. She doesn't leave.
"Ignore her." I say and flip my hair out of my eyes. "Hopefully, you won't get too distracted." I taunt.
"Bring it!"
I try to fake him out, but he doesn't fall for it. No, instead he falls right on the ball.
Again.
He starts laughing. He's such a sore winner.
A cuss word comes flying out of Link's mouth as I do a small fistpump and laugh.
"Gooooaaaaaalll!" I let out like I'm broadcasting a game on TV.
The ugly paparazzi lady starts writing in her stupid notebook.
"Alright, lucky shot." Link mumbles.
Even distracted by the woman taking shots of us, he just steps to the side and catches my next shot.
Aggravated, I ask to switch. Link looks like he's getting mad too.
A cuss word slips out of my mouth as I land on the hard ground. As Link cheers, the stupid woman starts talking to us.
"I wonder what your parents would say about your foul mouths?"
Excuse me?!
Link says some very rude comment to her and storms into the house, I assume to find Dad. Her pen starts scratching away like mad.
"You've got a lot of nerve coming here, to our house and saying stuff like that. It's none of your business." I would've said more, but Dad comes out of the house at about that moment and makes the woman leave. The stupid b*tch actually asks for an autograph!
Later on, as the sun really starts to set, Link's competitive attitude problem has another victim: Skye. The two of them start up a water balloon fight. I stand and watch.
I nearly die laughing. Skye has fantastic aim. Link hasn't gotten him once. Poor Chasity. I hope she doesn't need that later. Link has a date tonight.
I live vicariously through my little brother as he shows no mercy.
"Enough!" Link begs.
"Are you calling it?" Skye asks.
"Fine, fine! Mercy!" he answers just before Skye starts whooping and doing a little victory dance.
We get inside to Giselle screaming her head off. It's odd because it's usually Milo that's screaming, but he's happily content to play with his blocks toy.
Link picks her up, and I do what I can to help him put her to bed. Mom looks gratefully at us.
He may tease Skye and me, but those twins, especially Giselle, have Link wrapped around their little fingers.
Giselle begs for a story, but Link has to get ready to go meet Chasity at the graveyard. So, I'm given story duty.
Okay, so Giselle has me wrapped around her little finger too.
"What's on your pants?" Chasity asks as she walks up to me where I stand looking out over the ocean.
I look down, worried. Then I understand. "Oh, Skye hit me with a water balloon."
"Kid's got good aim." she remarks, and it only now occurs to me that the only way she noticed that was that she was looking. I grin.
"So, Fiona and Skye age up tomorrow. So does my brother Glen."
"Yeah." I stay lamely and at an utter loss for something more eloquent.
I have no idea why we decided to meet at the graveyard. It's not like it scares me, but I often wonder why it's the 'in' meeting place for dates.
We hear the sound of someone obviously in mourning.
"Who is that?" I ask Chasity quietly as I step towards her so she can hear me better.
"Gino Ferrari. I think his wife died."
"Really?" I ask.
"No, well, actually I have no idea." she answers and stifles a giggle
"It's not nice to laugh at dead people." I whisper.
"I'm not laughing at dead people. I'm laughing because I have no idea why Gino is crying and you fell for me saying his wife died." she says a little defensively.
I try to change the subject to keep her from getting upset. She gets upset easily. I have no idea what I'm talking about. I just keep talking to keep her from getting mad. Thank goodness this girl can talk about anything. Before I realize it, we're sitting down inside the graveyard walls.
We sit here for a little while when this strange person, um, it's Yvette Ferrari, Gino's kid. I think she's a girl. I also think she cuts her own hair. Thank the maker I cut my hair with my wand. She sits down right next to us. Um, we're on a date here. Why are you sitting here next to us doing your homework? I notice Chasity is annoyed as well. We could get up and move, but we were here first.
"It's not even a full moon." I mumble, thinking about how strange the day has been.
"It's not?" Chasity asks, I guess for something to say.
"No, it's not. Notice we don't have the stupid green lighting everywhere?"
She sits back and looks at the sky. "Oh yeah."
I am so smooth.
She turns to me with a patiently-exasperated look on her face. "Oldest trick in the book, Link."
I grin back at her. "And you're happy I played it on you, aren't you?"
She just giggles and smiles that smile that I love. Yep, I'm good.
She leans over and whispers to me, "It's a good thing it's not a full moon. I think she's a werewolf. I swear the girl has hair on her eyelids."
I laugh as quietly as I can. Good thing Yvette really isn't a werewolf because if she was, she'd have heard Chasity just now and I'd have a mess of trouble on my hands. I kind of feel sorry for Yvette, but she won't accept anyone's help in anything, and she's a bit of a loner. Still, the girl could use a makeover.
We decide to just ignore the weird girl and look up at the stars.
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" Chasity asks me. At first, I was afraid she was going to ask me what I was thinking.
"I have no... idea." I say slowly because I really don't have any idea. "How about you?"
"I want to be a housewife." she answers unexpectedly.
At first, I think she's kidding. It takes me a few seconds to realize she's serious.
"Well," she continues, "it's not like I'll do nothing. I've already got a few successful blogs going."
"Oh." I say, again lacking in eloquent speech.
We sit and talk about possible stuff I could do when we grow up, and we barely make it to our houses before curfew after saying our goodbyes at the graveyard.
So, concerned I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life, I take one of those aptitude tests. I score average in everything and high in ... arts. huh.

Okay, well, obviously Skye hasn't aged up yet, putting this update in the middle of the last one. I almost decided to just skip over all this, but then the whole soccer/football scene got fun.
Stuff I forgot to mention last time:
Pedro got writing lvl 10 finally
Tony and Allen's sister, Bianca, got a divorce
turns out that Yvette Ferrari likes Donovan
my kids' ages are still all screwed up. I'm waiting for the message that says Chasity aged up before I age up Link, then Donovan will be three days after that, Skye three after that, etc. Hopefully the twins won't screw up.

"Poor Chasity. I hope she doesn't need that later." <- OH LOL!!! Donny has a dirty mind :p
ReplyDeleteLinkIsSoHot *gushes*
That paparazzi... Uh... Maybe she should look in a mirror before judging others lives. Clearly a few too many takeout meals while staking out the rich and famous peoples houses.
All my paps are old women.
Chasity has an odd sense of humour, and an odd plan for life. :p bless.
So... Is Link going to uni?
/shrug Not any dirtier than every other guy I know. :)
DeleteHeReallyIs! I wish I rolled a +1 or with help or whatever that could make me keep him and Donny. I have him as a ...um... I guess a 'seed sim' would be a good way to call it where I have a 'hood going that I'm just letting them go on their own with very little intervention. He has a thing for Kaitie Dare Parren from QoD LOL. Only I made her a fairy to make it interesting. I should put up the shots on this site if for nothing else than photo-album style.
Oh, but it's her job to judge others. Yeah, too many take-out meals while she does her stakeouts I guess. I suppose that can get boring and a candy bar makes it all better. I can understand that until I go on one of my 'food is gross get it away from me' bits. My paps are all types. For a while there was a really good looking one in CLJS.
She's looking for a way that her couch potato self can be happy. She was also in a rare mood on the date hence the strange 'jokes'.
IDK. I know for a fact that I'm sending Donny and Giselle... probably Milo at the same time would make sense for those two. Milo's really becoming the little intellectual. Maybe in the next update I can finally show them aged as kids. So cute!
I loved Skye taking Link down. Ha ha!
ReplyDeleteThe boys are all really cute.
I've modded the paps right out of my game, so they just don't exist.
Link and Chasity are so cute together. Loved the random girl who sat with them to do her homework.
Yeah, that was sweet. FOR REAL, in the game even, Link didn't get Skye once and I have loads of pics of Skye getting Link. It's almost like Skye has a lucky or 'winner' trait. He always wins. unless it's an heir vote... hehe.
DeleteAt first, I was upset to have so many boys, but when I bring teasing into the mix (so true to life), it gets fun.
I'd mod them out too, but I actually kind of need them for CLJS.
LOL that was awkward how she just came and sat down right after the two of them did.
With Twallan's Register mod, you can banish paps by neighborhood, so if you need them for some saves you can have them. Register also gives you tourist and animal control per neighborhood.
DeleteThe boys teasing each other is really realistic. And it's nice you can still feel the brotherly affection beneath it.
Hm, cool! It looks like I'm adding another mod.
DeleteI love the camaraderie I've created with the brothers. Poor Giselle, maybe. She Does have them wrapped around her finger tho. :)
With all those older brothers, I pity the guys that try to date Giselle as a teen. =D
DeleteHmm... hi Donovan. All the paparazzi in Sicily's game who stalk her when she goes out are hot men. Any paparazzi who hang outside the front gate of her house are women. Strange. LMAO, water balloon in Link's... *area.* Perfect for a date. Meeting at the graveyard makes me think of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer scene. LMAO hair on her eyelids.
ReplyDeleteI did kind of notice that. I like that Tennan (sorry if misspelled) goes out and scares the crap out of them. Maybe the women are after HIM. hm? hehe.
DeleteSkye really did win the water balloon fight. He wins everything. Link never even hit him once. I'm starting to wonder if there is a hidden 'winner' trait.
I feel a little bad about that 'hair on the eyelids' thing because there Are people out there that have that, but that was Chasity being insensitive like a typical teen.
Nope you spelled it right. :) Oh my, there are? I feel so bad for them. I totally didn't know that was a thing. Well, unless there's a unibrow problem that creeps down to the eyelids? Poor peeps.
DeleteIt's extremely rare, and as I understand it, they make it work for them. :) It's a thing that causes hair Everywhere. I don't really understand it much more than that.
DeletePaparazzi are always good for a laugh, till they swarm! Kill them all. hehehehe
ReplyDeleteDonovan has a strong personality. Link is just too sweet. If he marries Chasity, I think that will cause her to gain weight a lot. Too bad there isn't a be a dentist profession *LOL*
Paparazzi drive me insane, but it's all part of the famous author life.
DeleteDonny's personality is only getting started, but you know that by now. ;)
