I'm starting to 'hear' Nick's voice in my head. In my last save, he's about to age to teen, and I think this darn thing might go 'story' on me.
--------------------------------------------------
Wrote down Sunshine's ex-boyfriend's name: Nicholaus Lai.
Sunshine isn't Dina's daughter, she's Nina's daughter. No big deal. Dina has a daughter named January, so we still get the funny name thing.
Again, I'm actually liking SP/Progression naming the kids for me.
Laundry bear. I mean gnome. Gnome in a bear costume that has a strange fetish for washing machines.
Strange and entertaining bug.
Nick needed a bath right after this.
I get a notification that Sunshine aged to YA.
WHAT?!!?
It was Saturday, and prom was to be that night, and Levi was due to age up right afterwards. I started minorly freaking out.
Sunshine as an adult. I couldn't stand it and had to do a makeover anyway.
Deciding that the whole point of actually playing the game this go around was so that I could experience things I haven't yet, I didn't do what I really wanted to do: un-age her back to teen so that they could still go to prom together.
I invited her over to their house because SP started immediately making her flirt with every single man in town... starting with Roger, Levi's dad. ew. lol. Then someone named Leslie Etheridge. Hm. I have a note that I wrote down that Juan Jr Inkbeard is her dad. Not important really other than I wrote it down.
So, prom starts, the limo arrives, and Levi leaves... alone.
He gets crowned king, and I keep getting notifications that he and Sunshine are having a marvelous time. o.O
(Oh yeah, Nick is aging up in this shot as well, but more on him in a minute...)
Um... Sunshine is in two places at once.
Sunshine asks him to go steady and he says yes without giving me an option. I can't remember if I'd gotten an option before. I think I have. Levi had no choice haha.
Curious, I checked in Levi's people listing and it shows him as her partner, but as a friend. Haha. That's not something you see every day. I realize this probably has happened to me before, but the whole prom thing really makes it stand out to me.
I choose the bookworm trait for Nick.
He looks like his mom, only better imo. :)
Tho, I suppose Tim is in there too. Somewhere.
Pics showing how I'm redecorating and making Levi's old room into a multipurpose room.
Levi aging to adult. I random the nurturing trait for him.
He's definitely a Rao.
Right after he ages up, Meghann Black (the pretty blonde he was first going to ask to prom) calls him and asks him out. LOL. Sorry, Meg. You missed your chance.
Morgan Inkbeard (that elder politics dude) and Monika are dating again.
yay!
Sunshine goes home, and Levi dreams of her, borrowing "Nick's" bed for the early morning hours.
The next day is Sunday, and Nick heads off to the library (fulfilling a want as well). I have him start working on his writing skill. No book yet. Just writing skill build up.
Tim and Moe ^^ are best friends, but they only see each other at work. I thought I'd invite the guy over so they could spend some quality time being buds.
But instead of that, they all go to Levi's graduation. I didn't move Levi out right away unlike I did with Monika because I want to ensure he marries whom I want him to marry.
When they get to the courthouse, we find people protesting that there aren't enough clowns in the world or that the gov't is full of clowns, etc. I find it interesting that there is no circle with the slash through it, indicating a "down with the clowns" like I'd expect to see.
The old guy is Roger, Mia's first husband and Levi's dad. He's more interested in the protest than going to his son's graduation.
Then some crazy stuff happens that I'll put in the next update so that I don't run the risk of being long-winded.

Ok, wow. LOL at the Levi/Sunshine drama! I think the two places at once thing has happened to you in the Rose legacy, you know? And I didn't get an option for Jaydean and Alvaro to start dating, but I wanted them to anyway eventually. I thought I got an option before too, but maybe we're both crazy?
ReplyDeleteNick is cute!! That looks like daddy's nose, so there is some Tim there for sure.
I'm sure it has. I don't have that great of a short-term memory.
DeleteYeah, I wanted them to anyway as well, so it works out.
I think it depends on the liking gate (or whatever you call it) as far as the option thing.
Oh, that would be great if it was Daddy's nose. Mia's nose is okay, but it's a wee bit hawkish for an heir. Still, I'd rather Nick have a hawkish nose (he's a guy, it's okay -- yes, I'm shallow lol) than have Mia pop out more babies. The fewer the kids, the better! I thought I'd fall through the floor in a dead faint when I rolled 5 kids for the 1st gen of the Rose legacy. Then, gen 2 has to have 4! ugh! Thank goodness there's no 6 option. Well.... with you and your high likelihood of having multiples, rolling 2 kids would be like a far-off dream. :) lol. I'm laughing with you.
Hahaha, politicians are clowns. I'm going to go with that because they are. I've seen no evidence of them behaving like grown ups who know what they're doing. She's dating Inkbeard again? Haha, funny. She must have enjoyed his old man ways or something... o.O
ReplyDeletePartner and friend? That's odd. Well at least they're not enemies. LOL. It was also odd that she seemed to be playing guitar in the kitchen as well as never leaving Levi's side.
I had fun watching that protest grow and grow then coming up with why they were protesting.
DeleteYep. Good ol' Monika.
Yes, that had me mildly freaked out the whole time.
